The app
The app that runs the scanning.
Your iPhone does the scanning. The app watches the mat and shoots when the receipt lies still. Reading and filing happen on the phone too.
Coming soon to the App Store
Hands-free
The app watches the mat. When your hand is gone and the receipt lies still for 0.6 s, it shoots.
Talks you in
When a receipt lies outside the marked zone, the app says out loud which way to slide it.
Flat and sharp
It finds the edges and cuts the page out straight. The torch runs low during the shot, so there's no glare.
Searchable PDF
Text recognition runs on the iPhone, and every PDF has a text layer you can search.
Names the file
On-device AI reads shop, date and total:
2026-11-03_Baeckerei-Hansen_12,40EUR.pdf. Blank backs are skipped.Filed by month
Uploads go to your Nextcloud, into
Belege/2026/11/. Offline? Scans wait in the Scans list until you upload them.

What you need
- An iPhone with iOS 26
- The hoverscan rig, or any stand that holds the phone about 30 cm above the desk, camera down (cradles for 22 phones)
- A Nextcloud account for uploads. Coming later: folders in the Files app (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive)
The file name comes from Apple's on-device language model where the iPhone supports Apple Intelligence. On other iPhones a simpler built-in reader fills in what it can.
Your receipts stay yours
- Camera images are processed on the iPhone and never sent to us
- Text recognition and AI run on the device, not in a cloud
- PDFs go straight to the server you enter; your app password stays in the iPhone's keychain
- No account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking
